VOYAGE TO THE ACOLYTE - 1975 - STEVE HACKETT

Voyage of the Acolyte é o álbum solo de estreia do guitarrista e compositor Steve Hackett. Foi lançado enquanto ele ainda era membro do Genesis. O álbum foi gravado duas semanas após o último show de The Lamb Lies Down na turnê da Broadway e foi lançado em 1975 pela Chrysalis Records nos EUA e Charisma Records para o resto do mundo.

O disco conta com a participação dos companheiros do Genesis Phil Collins e Mike Rutherford. Em uma entrevista, Hackett disse que algumas faixas, particularmente "Shadow of the Hierophant", foram ensaiadas com o Genesis durante a gravação de Foxtrot, em 1972.
